Random Post 2

Every time I sent down to write this assignment, I have no idea where to start. I guess I am just do what I did last time and just treat this like a free write. It's odd that it is already April. The school year is extremely close to being over, and I cannot wait for summer. I plan on staying in LA for the summer, and it will be my first summer ever away from home. Honestly, I am both excited and sad. So for this post, I will talk about the pros and cons that I am anticipating for the upcoming summer.

I am excited because I feel like I have only been able to experience Los Angeles as a student. Most of my days and time are spent with the "Fryft" zone, and I am always busy. In summer, even though I will be working, my days will be more structured, and I can plan to do specific events based off this simple schedule. Additionally, one of my roommates will be staying in Los Angeles, and the rest are going across the country; therefore, we get to have a four person apartment just between two people. Since we will both have more time outside of school, we are both excited to travel around LA county and learn more of the city.

While I am ecstatic to live on my own for the summer and be a true LA resident, the hardest thing that I will have to deal with is not seeing my family. Family is one of my biggest personal values and not being able to spend time with my parents and relatives will be unfortunate. However, I plan on taking a week off sometime in the summer where I can go home and surprise them. Additionally, it is a little intimidating coming to the realization that I only have one more summer left before I am done with school, but I am ready for the challenge.

In conclusion, my summer is definitely going to be a new experience for me; however, I am grateful for the opportunity and excited for the new chapter. Honestly, I am ready to just dive into summer instead of anticipating it like I have been for the past semester. Who knows? Maybe I will keep you all updated and write on this blog throughout the summer. Anyways, that is all I have for now, and hopefully, I will run into all of you next semester!
